Here is the completed mini quilt. It is 8 inches square. OK for a first attempt I think.

Just beggining the satin stitching, the leaves are done and one petal

She's hard to see but Miss Kitty is helping me to get the stitching done. She likes the warmth of the maching and likes to lay on the bed of the maching while I stitch.
All the satin stitch is complete

Flower Power

I am taking a class at Quilt University and I am going to post my picture of works as they progress in this blog. The class started yesterday and I have started with a simple wild rose and I have taken liberties with color for the petals.
